How It Works
1. Book your car
Choose the location, date and time for your pick up and drop off, select the car type and transmission from our fleet range and book your rental
2. Meet & Greet
Malta International Airport - Our representative will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name. We will then take you to our office with the shuttle car (free of charge) to collect your car.
Attard Downtown - Our representative will be waiting for you at our head office, from where you will be able to collect your car
3. Off you go
Once preauthorization is secured and the car is checked with our representative for any damages, you are free to roam and travel the island!
Services Offered
At Behr, we offer seamless vehicle booking, payment, and rental experiences. You can reserve a Behr vehicle at least 24 hours in advance and conveniently pay with cash or a bank card, either on-site or in advance.
At the beginning of the car rental process, our dedicated Behr representative will meet you at the airport and drive you to our Gudja rental outlet via shuttle bus. Our outlet is situated just 5 minutes away from the airport. Your reserved vehicle will be prepared prior to your arrival, and all that is required is the completion of rental paperwork.
We also have a downtown pick up / drop off point situated at Malta’s central area, Attard.
Our rental and leasing prices include comprehensive insurance coverage for your peace of mind. To secure your booking, a refundable deposit ranging between €1,000 and €1,400 - depending on the car class selected - is required,. This deposit will be automatically refunded within 28 days of vehicle return if no damage is detected.

Is a deposit required when I book?
Every car rental booking will require a security deposit but it will only be taken upon collection of the vehicle.
What additional extras are on offer?
BEHR offers various additional services from extra insurance packages, child seats, GPS and more along with renting a car. All available extras will be listed for your convenience during the booking process and can be added on easily.

Pick up/drop off outside office hours is available at a charge.
Where is your rental office?
We provide a meet and greet service which means that once you reach the airport 'Arrivals', our representative will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name. We will then take you to our office with the shuttle car (free of charge) where you can collect your rental car.
The Downtown office is situated at OneOneO, Pitkali Road, Attard.
What is the rental process like?
You will make a reservation, provide necessary documents, inspect the vehicle, sign a rental agreement, and pay for the rental. Returning the car involves filling the gas tank and handing back the keys.
Can I rent a car without a credit card?
A credit card is required for prepaid reservations and to secure a pre-authorization deposit. Pre-authorization deposit conducted through a credit card is not a charge, but a hold of the quantified amount. Car rental amount can also be paid via debit card.
How long do I need to have held my driver's license to rent?
All drivers (including any additional drivers) have to be in possession of a driving license for at least 12 months to rent a car in Malta.
What is the minimum age to rent a car?
The minimum age to rent a car is 21. Drivers aged between 21-24 will be asked to pay a young driver fee.
How long does it take to receive back my preauthorization?
The preauthorization is returned to the same credit card automatically within 28 days from transaction date.
